No period after my sons birth 2yrs ago
Hi I had my son on 10.25.10 I bled for 1month after having my son and my period never came back. I waited a year before my concern started and had thoughts of having another baby. My son ripped my cervix when he came out and I was stitched back up. My midwife said I wasn't going to gave natural birth but a c section would be best. I can't get pregnant without a period!! Went back to my obgyn... Rest in peace she's no longer here. Had a pap came back normal... Had 2blood test for thigh broids came back normal... Had an ultra sound and another where they actually look inside and all came back normal.. my son will be 3 in Oct. I still have no period and I'm only 30... Answers please??

    Are you breastfeeding?

I didn't even got milk.. So I didn't breastfeed at all. I read that if I was breast feeding that could happen. But I want in that percentage.

That is odd. I would have bet that you were breastfeeding.

I would see a specialist. What advice has your doctor given you after all the tests came back okay? Obviously something must be going on.

Were your periods off before you had your son, or were they fairly regular?

Defintly was regular. The doctor told me I have to see a specialist because it could be hormonal... without insurance it could be very hard for me to get answers. But I feel meniposal* spell check.. I have been sweating in cold and hot ones since my son and I get mood swings as if I was on my minstral but nothing comes down.. .

    How old are you?

Sadly, you really won't find answers online. You'll find suggestions, but until you see a specialist, you really won't know what's going on.

You need to see a doctor. I suggest having your hormone levels checked. Specifically the TSH, T4, T3, FHS and LH levels.

I will. But is this a bad thing tray my hormones aren't getting my body back to its regular state!

I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, not uncommon really.

This could be thyroid induced which could be corrected with medication.

It could be hormonal as well, which can be corrected.

However, without doing the blood work, I really can only give you a guess as to what it may be. This is why it is necessary to see a doctor.

Well remember I said I took a thyroid blood test and other blood work that I don't remember and it came back negative for thyroid.. hormonal if that can be corrected that's great. Thank u so much. I will update the post when I get more answers.
