This guy is so sweet but I don't get to see him much. I am a Christian and so is he. He lives in Missouri and I live in Texas. My parents, brothers and me only go by his church about once a year. It happens rarely. How do I get him to like me. How do I flirt. How do I start conversations with him. How do I do these things?? I need help fast!

For starters, take your own advice - "Just be yourself around him. Don't rush into things, take it slowly." I think love is too strong an emotion.

This is also posted on one of the adult boards. I believe you are 11 or 12?

You can't make anyone love you. It's as simple as that. Be yourself and see what happens next.

By another post you made, I know you are 12 years old. How old is he? What do your parents think of you being in contact with this boy? What are your parents' rules for flirting and such?

If you live in different states and only 'go by his church' once a year, how do you know him? How do you have any contact with him?

Well we hang out a lot but I don't know if he likes me or not. My parent are fine with the fact that I like this boy. The want me to be with him. He is 13 years old. 1 year older than me. And I said "like" once a year. We really go over there mmmm... Maybe about 2 or 3 times a year. Sorry, that was my fault that you misunderstood. Any way what do you think?

What about practicing on guys where you live? -- start conversations, ask them what they like to do for fun, go out in church groups with them, compete with them in school, study with them in Sunday School.

That's the thing I homeschool and it sucks!! I don't get to see anyone much sooo... I only get to see people when I go to the beach, That's where I live.. Soo I don't really get to talk to people much. That is why I don't know what to do. But thanks for the answer. It still helped a little! :)!!

My parents are soooooooo strict with me and my brothers... The won't allow us to go outside most of the day. Dang! They don't even let us sit on the back patio! We don't have any friends, it's just me and my brothers! I don't know what to do about it. THere is no way you can stand up to them. They have a problem with listening to you. If they get you in trouble for no reason at all and you try to tell them that you didn't do anything at all, they won't listen to you they won't let you even TALK!! What do you think I should do? For goodness sake they won't even let me wear make-up. What do you think about that? Do you think I should be allowed to wear make-up? Plus when I go swimming they make me wear my swim suit with shorts and a shirt over it and I have to swim in that the whole time.
