Different resources are available to you depending on where you live, how much combined income each member of the household makes, etc. One program in my area reduces rent based on how much you can afford but you may have to move into a specific housing development.

Are you only in need of housing assistance or other things such as medical benefits or food?

Search these programs for your state:
WIC (Women Infant Children) food assistance
    Medicaid (medical benefits
Rental Assistance in ______(state you live)____
Reduced Housing in ______(state you live)____

    Good luck

Call the township or county human services office, call area churches, call the reference desk at your public library to find out about more services to help. You need to connect with a county social worker.

Does your boyfriend have a job? Where would you move to? Do you get along with his mother? If you do, it seems the best way to do this is to stay where you are for now, for her sake as well as for saving money's sake.

What country are you in? Certainly there is government help/disability for you and the mom.

Have you checked into government help and disability? If not, call your public library's reference desk for help in figuring out what to do from here (but first make a list of questions to ask).
