My toilet is blocked with a part of the toilet brush
    Hi
My toilet is blocked with a part of the toilet brush which got detached during the cleaning of the toilet. The part that got disappeared into the toilet is cylindrical in shape with about 3 inches (7&1/2 cm) in diametre and about 1 inch (2&1/2cm) in height.

Now when you flush the toilet, if there is no solids it flushes without any problems, but when the bowl is refilled, water level goes down a bit more than usual and comes up to the normal level fairly quickly.
But if there is solids or tissues in it, water level in the bowl comes up almost to the brim and gradually goes to the normal level in about 90 seconds
So I use the plunger several times hoping to push it down. It did not work

I then, put lot of toilet issue, hoping it will go and cover the blocked (brush) object and used the plunger. I thought the addition force this created, will do the trick. It did not work

I used news paper two. This time it got really blocked. But after few plumbing sessions I saw(through the "man hole" outside ) pieces of news paper going out.
I am a pensioner and cannot afford a plumber
Can you please advise me what to do now.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
If I continue what I have been doing, will it help
    Thanking you in advance
    With kind regards

To unclog your toilet purchase a toilet auger and auger the toilet. Good luck, DaviesDJ. :-)

You may find that an auger will not clear the part. You may have to remove the toilet and try to get the part from underneath. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I purchased and used the toilet auger few times. It did not clear the blockage. However I do not consider buying the auger as a waste of money, as it can be useful in the future.
I am hoping to try it for few more times
Will there be a chemical solution? I think the toilet brush head is made up mainly of nylon.
Is there a chemical that desolve it but not damage the toilet bowl and pipes
Any advise will be greattly appreciated
