    Im a 17 year old boy and my girlfriend is a 14 year old girl, is it legal or illegal for me to be with her? Its not a sexual relationship and if the police got involved what would happen??

    There are no laws covering relationships. However, it would be illegal for you to have a sexual relationship.

    But the key here is her parents. If her parents say she can't date you, then you would be in legal trouble if you tried to.

    If the police get involved then you could face arrest and even face jail time with a record that can follow you for a lifetime. You need to steer clear of this relationship.

    If her parents are giving her permission to date you (dating does not mean sex) then yes, it's legal. But if she's dating you behind their backs, and they're unaware that she's dating you, than it's illegal.

    I'm guessing you're worried because her parents don't know, and haven't agreed to let the two of you date, otherwise why would you be asking if it's okay?
