I am on my menstrual cycle using tampons and even though they are not ready to be changed I am bleeding in my underwear, also clotting. What does this mean?

Do you have the super absorbent tampons?

I do not advise wearing tampons aside from swimming for a number of reasons.

How often are you having to change?

I am using regular but the problem is that my tampon is has more clotted blood than actual blood from a regular menstrual cycle and this has never happened before, I have been using tampons since I started puberty and never jad this issue

Most likely it is just a change in your period. This happens from time to time.

I would suggest that you stop using tampons and start using pads. You don't want to risk toxic shock syndrome.

Keep an eye on your pain and make sure you are not running a fever.
