Honda accord 96 cranks but will not start
    Hi

Honda accord 96 M/T was working fine... nerver had lectrical problems last 6 years. I was working on Idle Valve when a short circuit occurred on IAC wireharness. Now the car will not start. It cranks. I checked all fuses and found one blown, replced it. Checked most of the relays, they click. No humming sound from back of car when car is Started suggesting no gas is released. The main relay looks fine but I am not sure if ECU might have been affected. There is no voltage on IAC when ignition is ON.
I would appreciate any help out there... very desperate

    1. Check all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimete. Here's how:

    2. Run the K-Test, in order to test your ECM:

    3. If the car still doesn't start, perform all tests in sections A and B.

I'm somewhat concerned the ECM might have been damaged. In order for the main relay and fuel pump to work, the ACG (S) (ALT) fuse must be good and the ECM must function properly. Performing the 3 basic diagnostic tests will reveal the direction you should proceed.
