My ex and I have a 7yr old I had her all her life till 4 months ago and no aggrement has been done I still have equal rights but till court id like temp custody how do I apply without a lawyer where do I go and what do I do

Look in the phone book blue pages for the Family Court near you, probably the county court, and go there and ask. You don't need a lawyer but it helps, and they may be helpful with your questions, they may not. You may have to prove paternity first if you aren't on the birth certificate.

First ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. Second, we need to know more about the circumstances.

Were you married? Has there ever been any court orders for custody? Why did custody change 4 months ago? Is there currently a hearing scheduled for custody, if so, when?

The general answer is to file a petition with Family Court for an emergency custody order. But to be able to give more details we need to know more. Like what would be your grounds for the emergency order.
