I'm 18 years old and for 2 years I was on the contraceptive injection, (depo-provera) I last got one on the 3rd march 2012, and my periods returned on the 14th June. Ever since my periods had got into a routine again and I'd know when to expect it but this last 2 months it has been a day to 2 days late. Now it is over a week late and I'm convinced I am pregnant however I have taken 2 tests 2 days ago, I hadn't done them first thing in the morning though it was about late afternoon. They were both negative. I am wondering could this be too early for it to appear up or was it because they weren't taken first thing in the morning? I'm new to all this so haven't a clue!

When you miss a period and think you're pregnant you shouldn't test until you're at least 2 weeks late, and yes, you have to test using first morning urine. If that test is negative you wait for your next period, and if it's missed you test again or get a blood test done.
