I wrote a bad check received notice from states attorney to pay it by a certain date before I could pay it the business closed down now am facing charges for not paying it what should I do?

Tell the AG what you have told us -

What do you mean "the business closed down"? The business to which you owed the money? Chances are that there is someone responsible for winding up the affairs of the business. You had best find out who that is and pay them.

They were bought out by another company all of their stores shut down

So you pay the company that bought them out, obviously.
