Hello, my 2 year old son is throwing up, really bad diarrhea smells like a dead animal and is very liquidy, he doesn't even know when he's going. But no fever and is acting fine. I am giving him lots of water and he hasn't eaten much. Is there a need to take him to the ER? He has a doc appointment tomorrow morning but am not sure if I should wait.

I am 71 yrs old, and not a doctor. If he were mine, I would take him to the ER if he keeps throwing up. He can get dehydrated fast. This is just my opinion, being a father who raised 3 children to grownups. You have to decide for yourself. Good luck, and may God Bless you and your son.
