    110v hard wired in a 220v Country (Uruguay)
    Can I hard wire a 110v chandelier in a country (Uruguay) that runs 220v?? Can I just change the light bulbs? Or will I burn down my new house??

    It is likely that the lamp-holders and conductors are listed for at least 300 volts so it's possible...
    Can you verify the voltage ratings of the above?

    I would still advise you to have a good electrician examine this fixture before you do as you propose...

    It is not safe ,the lights may burn out the lights.If you have to do that ,you can ask LED Lamps Manufacturer for help

    It is possible if the fixture is rated for 240volts (or higher ). Keep in mind that the bulbs available in Uruguay may differ than the bulbs here. Many 240 volt bulbs use bayonet type connectors whereas here in the US we use Edison screw-in bulbs. DO NOT install 120volt bulbs if you do hook it up to the 240v mains.
