I have sharp pains in spots on my stomach. Sometimes their under my ribs. Tylenol and mydol don't work and heat rarely does. It doesn't feel like cramps so much as someone taking pokers to different parts of my stomach all at once. My period is now irregular and has been for a year and a half but it was regular for 3 and a half. I was wondering if it might have something to do with my menstrual cycle but I'm not sure.

After reading other questions I decided to add some things. I haven't ever had flu and I'm not vomiting. The pain has been coming on suddenly and has been for a few weeks. It doesn't happen everyday though. I had my last period only a little before the pain really started. It hardly goes away by itself but meds ABSOLUTELY do nothing. Heat eases it slowly away and can take about an hour before it goes away completely. It can get really bad sometimes. I also have just the tiniest bit of blood on my tissue after I've wiped. I noticed this a while back and it scared me enough to check for it. It is almost every time I go.

It could be all sorts of things related to your reproductive system or in your digestive system (ulcers?) or in your urinary system. We can't diagnose.
