    My kitten has mucous stool
My six month old kitten has mucous runny stool. He keeps pooping on the floor. I feed him royal canin the persian formula and recently added some meat in his diet. He has had this problem before the meat. Is flagyl enough to clear this oroblem?

I trust you aren't giving the cat "people medicine" without consulting with your Vet - countless animals die every year when they receive dosages not intended for animals.

    What does your Vet say?

Why is the cat taking an antibiotic (which is what Flagyl is)?

This cat should see the vet... this could be something serious and you're just messing around and taking chances with your guessing.

Human antibiotics should NOT be given to animals.

    So to answer OP. NO!

Still a young cat, gastrointestinal system not happy with change In food. Now you have to switch it back, do not offer any of your food, but only meat in wet cat food.
