How to stay connected without getting abused?
38 yr old daughter with 8 yr old granddaughter. Divorced from her alcoholic father who has a covetous interfering older sister. Daughter defaming character of her mom on Facebook. Ex-relatives joining in on defamation. Granddaughter's rights completely dismissed when it comes to seeing her "G", nickname for me. What to do?

If you live in an area where there are grandparents rights, you file in court for visitation.

You break all other contract with daughter, merely arrange for pick up and drop off grandchild.

If she is using the grandchild as a weapon, and there are no rights in your state, it may be better to just break all contact and hope to connect to grandchild latter, since it is not good for child to be used as such

Sad news since I have cancer and she knows it. It came back again two years ago and I had a bi-lateral mastectomy to stay alive, but there are no guarantees. My daughter has not spoken to me all this time even though the surgeries almost killed me. Don't get it
