I just replaced the MOEN cartaridge in the shower knob. After I replaced it I only get semi-warm to cold water. Is it possible that I installed it upside down or is it a faulty part?

Is it a positemp? If so, pull it completely out and reverse it. If it is a chataeu that the handle pulls out to turn on, simply spin the brass stem and put handle back on.
