"I am a frequent IV drug user and last night I might have over done it and I lost conscieness and for 9 hours have been twitching and spazing. I since the use have developed a stutter and memory loss. I am wondering if I go to the ER will they turn me away . Should I go?

They will not turn you away and cannot. Please go to the hospital. Be totally honest about your addiction history and ask for help. Ask them to admit you for detox. They can help you through it with medication to manage withdrawal. There is a lot of help available. Just resign yourself to letting go of trying to control this yourself. Go to rehab and do exactly what you're told, even if you think it won't work, even if you think it's stupid, even if you don't think it's for you. Let go of the control and let others make some decisions for you until you're well. If you do, they can get you well and give control back to you instead of giving the control back to the drugs.
