    Juvenile burglary felony
My son is 11 yrs old. 2 high schoolers had him and his friends help them break into a school and steal snacks. My son didn't want to go in so he stayed outside. He is being charged with a felony because he didn't leave and tell an adult. His friends said he didn't participate in stealing. He has never been in trouble at school or with the law before. What will happen to him. We live in Texas.

He did more than simply walking away. He stayed there, perhaps to aid and abet the thieves. Make sure he gets a good lawyer. Being a convicted felon for the rest of his like is to be avoided at all cost.

In the video it shows him just standing around. The other kids wanted him to let them know if someone drove up. He said a bunch of cars drove up but he was to scared to let the other kids know so he just stood there and did nothing. Can a lawyer practicing family law represent him in court

Sure. But you really need a lawyer who is very good at criminal law.
