    State tax filing extension without wife's SSN/ITIN
    Hi,

    My wife is on H4 and we applied for an ITIN with Federal returns using Form W7.
    Now, to file for a State tax filing extension ONLINE, I need to enter wife's SSN/ITIN.
    Can I file for extension without my Wife's SSN/ITIN?

    You can MAIL the extension and insert "ITIN APPLIED FR" where her SSN goes.
