    In summit county 60% of the voters are democrats. What is the probability that a random sample of ten summit county voters will contain:

    a). Exactly 6 democrats

    b). At least 7 democrats

    c). 0 democrats

    d). All democrats

    The answer is A) exactly 6 democrats. If 60% of the county is democratic, then that means out of 100 citizens, 60 are democrats. If you simplify this, then out of 10 citizens, 6 are democrats.

    Nicole: hint - use the binomial probability formula - it's in your text book. Post back showing us what you get for answers and we'll check them for you.
