    State Select Water heater problem
I have a State Seclect as water heater in my home. The model number is PR650NOVT. I had a flood in my basement that was deep enough to cover the pilot lite and burner in the water heater. Once I drained the basement I dried the water heater out, lit the pilot and the water heater fired up and has been working fine for a week. Now the pilot lite is still lit but the heater will not fire up. Any suggestions on what the issue could be?

Water in the gas control valve? What caused the water in the first place? Is you TPV vented outside?

Pretty good chance at this point that the gas valve has water damage. Water deep enough to cover the pilot area can damage the internals of the gas valve, and even though it lasted a while after the fact, it now is shot. I would suggest replacing the complete water heater at this point. Once a gas appliance has been flooded, replacement is the safest option. If possible, place the new water heater up on a couple of cinder blocks or equivalent to prevent future issues with minor flooding.
