I installed a 30 hp briggs motor in a dixie chopper, can anyone tell me how to wire the engine, there is a red, black, and gray wire, from the mower I have a white that went to the coils, and a red wire that went to the fuel, I'm not getting fire to the plugs
From motor red wire has a jumper, hooked it to gray wire for fuel, it kick open when key is turned on.
Red wire from mower is hot when key is on, I hooked it to red wire on motor
I have left is white wire that went to coils on mower.
And black wire from motor

What I have left is a black wire on motor, and white wire from mower, I know the white wire went to coils

Hi,
I would say that you have a different charging system on the replacement engine(I assume that is what it is.) It would be most helpful to have the engine and equipment inf(numbers) to ascertain a correct answer.
