I am wanting to seek adopting my nephew. His father is in jail. His mother is in and out of jail. I don't know where to start??

You need a lawyer and permission of his parents. Who is he living with now? What state are you in, if the US?

I recently moved back in with my elderly parents to help them take care of him. So... We both live with my parents. We are in Alabama.

What are the chances that both parents will agree to adoption? It will cost a fair amount of money.
