Okay I got caught with weed when a cop walked into my house with no warrant.I got a mistemeanor charge. I was out on diversion and didn't have transportation and was sent back to court now I've been put on probation for 6 months I can't make my appointments and she violated me. And she there would be a warrant for my arrest and I need to turn myself in. Could I face jail time? State of Florida

They'll continue your probation but they'll require you to do rehab related classes. In some cases they'll lock you up for a week to a month. And if you've violated more than twice you're looking at revocation.

I wouldn't mind doing the jail time, it beats 6 months probation anytime. But it's your choice in the end. Good luck!

They may do some jail time to make you understand the seriousness, they don't care you have no transportation, you find a way, no excuse.

But after short jail, most likely a few weeks after being picked up, they go back on probation again.

Next not having a warrant is not important here, has nothing to do with this, that would be a issue at trial, since already convicted, the conviction is valid,
