Why does my chest burn when I cough?
Where is it burning and can you be a little more specific?
I am a 26 year old female. In September I had early stage pneumonia and bronchitis. In November I had bronchitis again and, in December, I was diagnosed with asthma. Now when I cough my whole chest has a burning sensation. Is that normal or is there another reason that might happen?
Probably from coughing too much. It takes a lot of muscles to cough, and it can be very hard on your body. I actually broke a rib once from coughing too hard.
But this is just a guess. That's all we can do online. If you're concerned, you should see a doctor.
