The control swithch has a power, reverse fan, forward fan and light switch.

When you shut off the light the CFL bulbs continue to flicker. If you replace the bulbs with incondescent bulbs it doesn't happen.

When the power button is pressed it doesn't occur either.

CFLs will occasionally flicker with timer and/or remote control lights. You might try a different brand of CFL; some are more prone to flicker than others. Or you could go back to incandescent.
