I just finished a slice of pizza and I'm having some sharp pains in my chest where my heart is located. Is the acid reflex or do I need to seek some medical attention?

Given that you just had pizza, its possible it is heartburn/reflux.
If the pain continues, or gets worse, or starts to move down your left arm, go to the ER.
Other than that, don't lay down, take an antacid, try eating a plain piece of bread, in my experience, bread is the best food for absorbing extra stomach bile.
I agree with your other answer. I am not a doctor, but it sounds like heartburn, or indigestion. I use to have feelings like this every time, and found out I have acid reflux. I am now on daily medications for the last few years. If it continues, either take Tums, or some other anti-acid and see if it helps, or go see a doctor. Good luck.
There really is no way for anyone to diagnose you online. While I do agree that this is most likely acid reflux, there's really no way for us to say for sure that it is. In other words, if you're concerned, the best bet is always to see your doctor, and not go online for a diagnosis no one online can give you.
Good luck.
