After flushing the toilet there is a loud banging noise and a vibration noise in the water pipe?

Water hammering can come from a number things but for toilets it is most commonly coming from the anti siphon or fill valve in the toilet tank. They get old or dirty and can cause a real racket as they fill and shut off at the top of the fill cycle. Pull the tank lid and set aside then flush the toilet and listen. See if the hammering happens at the very end of the tank fill cycle. If it does there is a definite possibility that it is the fill valve causing your trouble. They are inexpensive and easy to change out.
