What is the trade discount amount?

I've came up with the net price using the chain discount. But I'm gettting confused on how to calculate the trade discount amount.

This is what I came up with the Net Price
$1,299.90 * .05 = $65.00
$1,299.90 - $65.00 = $1,234.91
$1,234.91 * .03 = $37.05
$1,234.91 - $37.05 = $1,197.86
$1.197.86 * .02 = $23.96
$1,197.86 - $23.96 = $1,173.90
