I had a crush on my best friends cousin for a few months and a new girl came to the school and me and my 7 best friends instantly became best friends with her. A while after I finally convinced myself to ask him out. Later that night I was staying at one of my best friends house with another one of my friends and I got a text from my friend saying she was going out with my crush, but of course she didn't know I liked him.

I finally told all my friends and now I don't know what to do. My crush talks to me more than her but he really likes her as he won't stop talking about her to me. I want to ask him out, but I DON'T want to hurt her feelings so what should I do?

I think you should talk this to that girl first. Just tell her that you had a crush on him for a long time and was planning to ask him out and all.Just ask her how she really feels about him. If she is not really into him,I guess no need for you to worry anymore and finally just reveal your crush to that boy.

I also think it's OK to say to the guy (sort of jokingly, as you are leaving, so that he doesn't have to respond right on the spot) that you are sorry you missed the chance to go out with him first but were too shy to ask! That way he knows, and if he and she don't work out, he knows how you feel. Of course you might have a new crush by then... that's the way it goes.

You do nothing, you had a chance for how many months and did nothing, your new friend had no idea you liked him, and moved on it.
So there is nothing to do now, they are dating now, you missed your chance. You learn a lesson from this, if you want to do something like talk to someone, do it, NOW not wait months

I knew I would be the only one here saying you could mention it... I still think if it's done VERY casually, it's OK, without spite or bitterness, just sort of 'darn, I missed out.' Why? Because sooner or later he and she will break up. Just don't be coy or catty. Just wait.

You go about your life and don't sit around waiting for them to break up. Frankly, if he liked you, he could have asked you out at any time before the new friend came in the picture. He didn't. Also while you are focusing on him, you may be ignoring a gentleman who would be a better match for you.

If you were going out with him, you wouldn't want another person letting him know they are available when he is, would you? How would you feel especially if it was someone who you thought was your friend?

As you go through life, you will have many crushes and opportunities. This is a learning experience about how to gracefully walk away when the person you 'like' likes someone else.

That was a good advice.but if it was me,I would be a little selfish.I would have tried my luck by asking him out.

It is a cheap trick and not a very nice thing to do, to ask someone out that you know is dating someone else and for all intents and purposes is happy. Would you want someone to do that to you?
