Was there a movie western where Burt Lancaster and kirk Douglas both loved the same women and it ends as follows.

Burt and Kirk face off in a gunfight. Burt knows that he can win so he removes the bullets from his own gun to allow Kirk to win and of couse Burt dies.

They made 7 movies together, from 1948 to 1986. I looked for a western with your description, but I couldn't find one. The closest I could find was "Gunfight at the OK Corral" , But it doesn't end that way. I would try looking it up on IMDB. I hope this helps.
