Recently I lied to my boyfriend about talking to my ex. My ex owes me a large amount of money and I went for a walk w him to keep us friends so I can get that money back. I have no feelings for him. My current boyfriend went through my phone and saw that I went for a walk w him and that I was talking to him. Mainly about money, nothing else. My current boy friend broke up with me, saying he can't be lied to and play games w a girl. We were perfect until now, no fights no arguments. We clicked so well... I'm trying to give him space. Do you think he will come around?

Leave him alone and let him move on. You should move on too. I doubt he's going to come around. That was proven when he took off right away. I think you learned a pretty valuable lesson about honesty though, right, and how much it really means in a relationship.

Look at this whole situation through his eyes. He had no idea you went on this walk with him but he finds out later so there goes his trust for you right there, gone. Now you try to tell him that nothing happened and that it was just for the money blah blah. Too late, he's already lost your trust so he's not really going to believe what you have to say now.

Now I realize your intentions, that you're only doing it for the money he owes and you don't have feelings for him, but that's not the point. The point is this guy caught you sneaking around and being dishonest with him. If you were honest with him from the start, this may not have happened.

Will time away make him miss me and maybe be able to talk. We were completely in love until this and I feel like even though its awful what I did, he could look past it eventually.

Will time make it easier on him to come around? Will he eventually miss me and want to talk? After it happened he said he still loved me and I'm not a bad person but then he's extremely cold. I'm confused.

Everyone's different. He may come running back tomorrow, he may be back next month or he may never come back. Trust is just one of those things that's hard to earn back but again, everyone's different.

I wouldn't sit around waiting for him though. Start moving on, if he comes back great.
