Why is my period so late?
Hi everyone. My name is angie. Ok so I have never been to the dot regular, I am always a few days and up to a week late. I was supposed to get my period the 15th of February, and I am still waitting for it. I am not pregnant since I already took 2 pregnancy test a week a part. I do not know if it is normal, has anyone experience this before? I could really use some advice thanks:)

Don't rule out pregnancy. The majority of women don't get a reliable result until at least the second missed period, and many women don't get a reliable result until well into their second trimester.

So, when did you test? Did you use first morning urine when you tested?

Pregnancy is still a possibility. Wait and see what happens with your next period. If you miss it as well, test again using first morning urine, or get a blood test done.

    Good luck.

    Good luck.

I did use the first morning urine with both. I alreay have two children, and both of the tests came out possitive rigth away, so I do not know if it would be any different this time. I have been thinking of going to the doctor to get a blood test, to be sure. Thanks!

Every pregnancy is different. Don't count on past experience to determine this one.

    Caffeine and menstrual cycle
I recently heard that caffeine has been linked to iirregular periods, does anyone know anything about this? And how much is too much caffeine? I am just trying to figure out, if there is anything I can do to help regulate my period. Thanks:)

Wow! That is the first time I have ever heard of this... I comsume close to no caffeine, and I STILL have irregular periods! Unfortunately, I do not know how much is too much, but I would guess no more than 2 cups of coffee a day. I KNOW that birth control can help regulate periods, but maybe this article will help you a bit...

If you consume a lot of caffeine, read this one too! I found it quite interesting :)

I've never heard of this. I used to be a coffeeholic, drinking at least 6 cups a day. I conceived both of my children when I was still drinking coffee, and I always had a regular period.

Where did you get this information from? If it was the internet, then I wouldn't trust the source without confirming it with your doctor. Frankly, to me it sounds like bull.

Yes this is the same article I read. I ask my doctor once about caffeine, because I went to see Him for breast tenderness, as I researched about it I read about caffeine causing that. My Doctor told me that it can, yes, especially a few days before my period. I always get that tenderness like a week before. I will ask Him about causing irregularities on menstrual cycle. Yes I know that birth control regulates period, when I was using the pill, I had a very regular period, but the pill and my body did not really like each other. I did not take the shot well either, and I don't want to use anything that has to be inserted. Thanks for the help:)

Yes I love my coffe as well:). I did get it from the internet, and I will need to confirm with my Doctor next time I see Him. I am sure that is not the only reason for irregular periods, but It would be interesting to know for sure if it affects it at all. Thanks!:)
