    Lie bumps
I have a large number of " lie bumps" on the tip of my tongue that have been there for several days... They have come and gone a few times over the last few months... Is it serious or how should I get rid of them

'Transient lingual papillitis' of the fungiform papillae, the tiny organs on the tongue that include taste buds. '-itis' is just a word ending for anything inflamed. There is no medication. Just warm salt water rinse if they get sore, or an ice cube for a few minutes before you eat or drink hot liquids. Good oral hygiene. Good diet, all the vitamins. If they don't hurt, don't worry about them.
