I have had annoying left upper rib pain for almost 3 days now came out of nowhere, I do not have a job so I am at home.. I don't remember injurying my left side. I have asthma and restrictive lung disease, GERD , and I've had heart surgery when I was five years old and like two months ago they said my heart was fine. My question is should I wait it out or go to the ER?

If you are in the US or Canada, it's still daytime Saturday and you could go to a walk-in clinic. I won't give advice about tonight through Monday morning! Sure, it could be bad bouts of gas high up in the part of your stomach on the left that is right under the heart, where gas goes. Or it could be serious. I assume you take anti-acids. You can also call your doctor's office and leave a message about your symptoms.
