Can a Father terminate his rights?
My husband is interested in terminating his rights to his child from a previous marriage. Another man wants to sdopt her and we literally can't afford the child support. How do you go about this process?

    Hello lovin:

Sure he can give up his rights. But, if he's not using them, why give them up? They're not in the way of anything. His rights, however, are not the same as his obligations, and he can't give up those.

If another man wants to adopt, then that's another matter. But, until that happens, hubby pays, and rightly so. Yup, kids are expensive.
