My best friend is a guy and we have been friends for like 2 or more years and he just got a girl friend and they have not been together for over a week. She is trying to break our friendship up. He does not know what to do. I'm upset because I have been there for him a long time. She has started rumors about me but he's still with her. What should he do, or what should I do?

You do nothing. This is his affair not yours. He is with her because he wants to be.

Sadly this kind of stuff happens now and then. Eventually they will break up and then he will realize that he alienated his friends for her and she's not even around.

I thought about that. But I do wish the best for him.

You don't need his type of false friendship. Time to look for a REAL friend.
