Moen single handle kitchen faucet suddenly stopped aerating. Removed aerator, inspected and replaced with out problem being resolved. Why is this happening?

So what does that mean? Does it mean that water is not coming out or that water is not coming out in a uniform stream? When you remove the aerator did you try the faucet without the aerator, if so what happened?

There's plenty of water coming out, there are just no bubbles in the water. No aeration. There is, of course, flow when the aerator is removed. I called Moen. They just said that there's a lifetime guarantee on the fixture so they're sending me a new spout. I still have no explanation as to why it just stopped aerating all of a sudden. To me, aeration is quite simple and straight forward. I'll replace the spout and that should solve the problem.
