    Two switches and two lights
I have one gfi plug and a dual switch. One switch powers the light over the sink the other the garbage disposal. Not sure how to wire it. Tried main power into gfi and jumped it to switch then pigtail to second switch. Both black wires for the light and disposal are attached to each of their switches but it is not working. Please help.

This did not work cause the two switches are a dual rocker switch. So is it different if you have one unit that contains two switches?

Take a look at your switch. On one side you should find the two screw terminals are connect with a brass strip. On the other side the screws are not connected.

Connect the incoming black from the GFI to the side which has the two screws connected. Connect the light and disposal blacks to the side where the screws are not connected.
