    Vaginal health
I am 16 and still haven't ever had a period. I am worried that I might not be able to have children. Could my period still come?
Oh and I am 5ft 9in and weigh 120lbs so I'm pretty skinny but I am still healthy and active and I do not have any kind of eating disorder.

Some girls are late bloomers. You will eventually get your period, don't worry about that.

Since you are 16 and still haven't had a period, you may want to talk to your doctor about it, see if there is something that's going on that's preventing it from coming.

How old was your mom when she started?

So she was a fairly late bloomer as well.

Do you play sports? Athletes sometimes have issues with their periods coming. In fact, many athletes don't get their period at all while they're training, or extremely physically active for long periods.

Sadly we really can't tell you why you're not getting your period, or when you'll get it. Only that you will. All girls do eventually.

I really would discuss this with a doctor, have a complete physical, and then go from there.

    Good luck.
