I'm really struggling to get my 12 week old bulldog puppy to walk! He's been out a few times and needs lots of coaxing but the sits all the time. Last night he just flatly refused and wouldn't move. I came back as I didn't want to scare him about walking or make him fret. Does anyone know what to do? He's good in the garden too.

To walk period? It walk on a leash?

You are going to have to be patient. At twelve weeks everything is still new to him. If you are trying to take him for walks out in the street, you are asking him to deal with a lot of noise and commotion he is not used to yet.

Introduce him to the leash in a familiar place and walk him around, slowly introduce him to the street activity.
