    visitation without court order
Can you with hold visitation if there is no court order and the child was born out of wedlock? I'm curious because we just got a DNA test done through court and he has wicked bad bipolar and manic depression. He's been out of line lately. In and out of the hospital and getting so angry to they point he punched something and fractured his wrist. I'm very concerned for her safety.

It's up to you, really. If he's on the birth certificate, and there is no custody and visitation order in place, both of you have the right to full custody. But as a practical matter, the only way he can enforce that right is to take you to court. Unless he gets a visitation order, he has nothing to enforce.
