Im 7 weeks pregnant & I've been prescribed AMOX TR-K CLV to treat my UTI & I've read that it's not safe to take during pregnancy. I just want the best for my baby and I'm scared to take it. Is it safe to take?

It would be foolish and dangerous for anyoneto second guess the Physician who reviewed your symptoms with you, possibly examined and/or tested you and wrote this prescription.

You need to ask your ob/gyn AND the Physician who wrote this prescription.

Did you maybe discuss this with the doctor while you were there?

@odinn7 I didn't know while I was at the doctor that I was going to be prescribed with this medication. They gave it to me a few days after the appointment when the test results came back

Ok, then when they gave it to you, did you discuss it with anyone?
