My friend said my boyfriend cheated but he won't admit it.
My friend, let's call her Susy, saw my boyfriend grabbing another girls but. I asked my boyfriend if a guy grabbing other girls butt's was cheating, he said yes. I asked him why he grabbed this girls butt and he told me he didn't. I said I had 3 people confirm it. Then, he proceeded to tell me it was 'an accident'. Who do I believe?

What if your friend, I want to call her Sally, was lying? And then you lied if you actually didn't have 3 people confirming. But really, is buttocks grabbing that bad?

What if her name didn't really start with an S but just an S sound... like Cindy or Cynthia? I prefer to call her Cindy... so Cindy said this... is Cindy maybe jealous of you and your boyfriend? I have heard of this happening quite often where the friend will tell a lie to cause trouble. But as already pointed out, you told him a lie when you said there were 3 witnesses... or maybe Cindy told you 3 times?

Anyway... who do you believe. Everyone I have ever known named Cindy is a liar. But now you may have different results with your Cindy. But anyway... you believe who you think is telling the truth. And if he did play Grab-As... Grab-Butt, it may not be the best thing but is it terribly bad?

I would be wondering why your "friend" told you that in the first place. It was not her place or her business. And did you go and start asking people or did you lie about the witnesses.
He should not have grabbed the girls Butt but it is not cheating, it is a stupid tacky thing some boys do.

If you have to ask this question, then break up with your boyfriend. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship. You don't trust him. Let him go.

It really doesn't matter who you believe, because you have already shown that you do not trust your boyfriend. You have already shown that you have more belief in your friend's story.

You could have gone to your boyfriend and asked him what happened. But you didn't. Instead you set him up by asking a leading question about cheating. If he had said 'no', it would have gone against your opinion and he would be in the wrong. He said 'yes' so automatically he 'cheated' because your friend said he did. He denied it when asked and you badgered him until you got the answer you wanted. Only he knows if it was the truthful one.

The incident could have been the beginning of a discussion on boundary lines and working together to set boundaries for the future. Now, it is a mistake or accident which has become proof that he is a lying cheater.

My advice is to think about how you reacted and why. If you trust him, work on communicating. If you don't, let him go.
