    Could it be appendicitis?
Can appendicitis come and go? My daughter has had the same symptoms of appendicitis a couple of times (like 1 or 2 times a month)for the past couple of months, she get a sharp pain that almost takes her breath away, on her lower right side of her stomach it gets sore to touch then it will just stop and she'll feel fine. Or could this be a sign of her started her period soon (she is 10)

If in doubt, see the doctor. It could be even a hernia. It could be anything. Now you need to see the doctor explain the symptoms and how long it has been happening for.

I agree with Joe, please make an appointment for your daughter. If it is her appendix, it is nothing to be made light of. There is also a kidney on the right side. You are not going to know exactly what is going on until she gets a throough examination.

Appendicitis doesn't come and go. Once it starts, you either get your appendix removed or become deathly ill over the course of about 2-3 days.

That is agreed. Symptoms include but are not limited to nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, severe pain to the right lower quadrant of the abdomen, fever, chills, body aches. A definitive test can be ran at your local emergency room or family physician. If the pain subsides after a while then you aren't looking at appendicitis.
