We purchashed a used tanning bed which won't power up we wired it for 220 would that work on a 15amp or is it better on a 20 am circuit breaker

What's the installation manual say? That's the only way we can know for sure. You only gave us the voltage... not its current requirements.

We need to know watts or Amp rating. Can't guess here.
