I have a kenmore dishwasher less than 2 years old and the normal wash cycle light is blinking. The model I have is 665.13469K902. I have read a lot of threads about the same problems and it seems that once replacing parts it works for a little while then stops working again. What are the chances of replacing the control panel and it not working? Should I just buy a new dishwasher, not that I have the money for that but save the headache. What does it mean when the normal light blinks? I have found the tech manual behind the kick plate and it said to push heated dry... normal wash... heated dry... normal wash and that would put it in diagnostic mode. It appeared to be not doing anything after pushing the buttons. I have tried unplugging to reset. I am about to take several screws out of the door to get to the back side of the front where the panel is?

I don't think my dishwasher has a removalable screen. I checked it and appears to look clean. I checked the float and it moves up and down freely and it doesn't appear to be stuck. I do not have a meter and not very expereinced with one either. I ordered a control board and control panel. I was going to try and replace the panel (cheaper of the 2 parts) and see if that will fix the problem. If not replace them both and hopefully that should fix it. Thanks for the help
