    Cracked corian integrated sink replacement?
My sink is integrated with the Corian countertop. Now after six years, the area of the sink by the drain looks like there are hairline breaks. How can I replace it without replacing the whole countertop. This was not my idea. I moved into this house after the original owners left. Thanks.

There are Corian repair kits that are a lot of work. You could remove the sink with a plunge router all around the edge and put in a stainless undermount sink, as long as it requires the same or more dimensions. Make a plywood jig, clamp it to the counter, start a hole with a drill, and then rout around the Corian sink.

    Hi all

I'd like to see a picture of these "hairline cracks" Nanahaley. If you can post a picture (or two) We can tell you a lot more.

Here, it may (or may not) be possible to simply remove the kitchen sink strainer assembly (or disposal collar if you have a disposal) and sand out the cracks... maybe? Then you would just buff the corian to a decent finish and install a new kitchen sink strainer (or disposal collar).

Can't tell you though without a picture, OK?

    Back to you...
