    Friends think she's ugly.
Hi, here's my situation: this girl admitted she likes me and I think I like her too, BUT all of my friends say she is ugly and crazy which I totally disagree with. So if I go out with her people will make fun of me. Now normally I wouldn't care but I have been made fun of and been bullied all my life until I became 16 years old. I don't want to be made fun of again.

What do I do? Please answer quickly or she might not like me anymore.

Since you don't sound mature enough to handle any flak, I say pass on this opportunity. As you mature, you hopefully will consider the other person and her feelings instead of yourself.

Since you are more worried about what your friends say, do her a favor and leave her alone.

You have to choose. Either let your "friends" dictate your actions, and accept that you have no say in your life, or stop being a sheep and follow your own path.

If your "friends" bully you because they don't like the person you're dating, all because they think she's not attractive, then your only problem is that you don't have real friends. Hell, with friends like that, who needs enemies?

I don't think she deserves the turmoil you will undoubtedly bring to her if you do start going out with her. You will worry too much what others think and then probably make sure you don't go anywhere that you will be seen with her... then you will probably ignore her in school so nobody will make fun of you... if you are with her and someone you know sees you with her, you will probably ignore her then as well.

Don't do this to her... let her find someone that cares about her and isn't afraid of what someone else may say or think.

At 16, you are letting your friends decide what is best for you. One answer said pick better friends; that's a good thought. If you want others to run your life for you, then find someone they will approve of. If not, then follow your own feelings. One day, you will have to decide if you make the decisions, or if you let others make them for you.

Its real simple, people who bully and ridicule you are NOT your friends, so why listen? She deserves more than a guy who is ahamed of her, and listens to his so called friends. Your friends will make you miss a lot, so stand up to them.

They are likely jealous of you any way.

Do yourself and her a big favor - find someone else. She doesn't need to date someone who is more concerned with what people will think about him than how he feels about her.
