Trying to dye orange hair light brown?
About a year ago my hair was bleached then dyed red with a semi permant dye. After all the washes my hair is now orange. How could I get my hair a light brown color? My roots r black so I know I have to bleach them but do I have to bleach the orange as well? I want my hair to be evenly ONE SHADE. Please help

You should know how basic colors when combines with other colors form a combination. You know, white and black = grey? Blue and red = purple?
In your case permanent red dye plus natural brunette hair = slowly shading into a light color thus creating your orange hair.

You could either cut if off, it's free; dye it yourself but follow the instructions step-by-step, or go to a professional hairstylist and the process should take 30 - 2 hours. Depending on how orange it is.

What I recommend is cutting it yourself unless you have the money.
